Blackberry has now announced that Alicia Key will be the new Creative Director for the company from now on which created lot of buzz in the technology market.
The company believes that they will be back in the market and they have decided to come up with some better tactics that would attract their lost customers back. Although, Blackberry has lost a lot of customers to some other tech giants like Apple and Samsung the company has decided to come back strongly into the market with their new mobile operating system. Research In Motion believes that Alicia Keys is the right person for the Creative Director position because she understands Blackberry phones better than anyone else.
On the other hand, R&B music sensation Alicia Keys believe that she will be able to handle the role well in the future and she will do her best in terms of rebranding and revamping the platform for Blackberry. She said that she has always been a Blackberry user and therefore she easily understands what the consumers really need when they are looking forward to new Blackberry smartphones.
While Research In Motion CEO Thorsten Heins introduced Alicia Keys as the Creative Director of Blackberry he also revealed that going forward RIM is Blackberry and that it is one brand offering one promise that they will fulfill for their customers. He also said that Alicia Keys will work with app designers and carriers in the future to explore and make full potential use of the Blackberry 10 mobile operating system that will be available in future Blackberry smartphones.
