Sources have confirmed that Amazon has, for Mother’s Day, decreased the price of the Kindle Fire to $179 for the 16 GB version of the device.
This cheaper pricing is only available for products purchased directly from Amazon’s website. All you to do is enter “Fire4Mom” as a coupon code during checkout. This code only works if you look at the 7 inch version of the Kindle Fire with either 16 or 32 GB. You can combine it with any available special offers as well.
If you go in for the 32 GB version of the device, you will have to pay just $199 if you use the same coupon. The special offers include additional discounts if you agree to let Amazon post advertisements on your device’s lock screen.
