It was just a few days ago when we finally able to confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Note on AT&T received an update to Android Jelly Bean. But that wasn’t all. The good news just kept on coming. It appears that TELUS models too have received an update like the Jelly Bean. Canada and the United Kingdom are also reporting that the Note Series updates are in full swing and are popping up on various different versions of the Galaxy Note.
After TELUS released the Jelly Bean update for their users, it appears that Bell and Rogers have followed suit and released updates for users of the Galaxy Note on their networks as well. There are many users in the UK that have also started receiving Galaxy Note updates on their devices, even the unlocked models.
That being said, if you own a Galaxy Note Tablet and are still running Ice Cream Sandwich, you too should check if the update is out for your device. Check on both OTA as well as KIES.
As far as what the update contains, most people already know most of the changes and additions. But for those that still aren’t clear, here is a quick recap of what came out with the update for the Samsung Galaxy S3:-
1. Google Now.
2. Project Butter which will help substantially improve performance.
3. A brand new user interface.
4. New widgets.
5. TouchWiz UI
6. New notification area
