The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were not the only new devices we’ve been looking forward from Apple. The Apple iWatch is also another device techies have been dying to get their hands on. Unfortunately the smartwatch is not yet available for purchasing but we do have some official news about it.
The new Apple iWatch is a customizable smartwatch that was designed to work with the iPhone 6 but was also designed as a health and fitness device. It allows the user to connect and communicate directly from the wrist. The Digital Crown allows you to interact with the watch without obstructing the screen and you can also operate it as a home button. Thanks to Siri, it lets you smart message and dictate. It has a flexible retina display and it recognizes the difference between a tap and a press thanks to the Force Touch feature.
On the back of the iWatch there is a ceramic cover with sapphire lenses which help protect the four sensors used for the heart-rate monitor. The new smartwatch comes with an accelerometer that measures up the body movement and it also comes with Wi-Fi and GPS to track distance.
There are plenty of watch faces you can choose from, including Astronomy, Motion, Photo, Solar and even Mickey Mouse. The iWatch also comes with six interchangeable straps: the Sport Band is tough and sweat resistant , the Leather Loop has magnets for adjusting the watch. The other straps are called Classic Buckle, Link Bracelet, Milanese Loop and Modern Buckle.
The new iWatch is available in two sizes, a 38 mm and a 42 mm height.
