The tech giant company Apple Inc. makes their best efforts to lure you into purchasing the gadgets they produce, especially their iPhones and iPads. They have a new project for the Chinese market, to improve the sales of their iPhone 6. While Apple plans to enhance its sales in China, the country is on the verge of overrunning the US and becoming the most important Apple market worldwide.
Tim Cook, the chief executive officer of the Apple Inc. has announced that the tech giant plans to raise the number of stores that make Apple products available, in order to have more significant sales in China.
The first step of Apple`s Chinese ascension is a program to the consignation of buyers who already possess an iPhone. The program is comparable to the one that Apple performed in the United States, in partnership with the Brightstar Corporation. Basically, the associate makes a trade-in program possible, allowing the customers to get a more recent model of iPhone. The old models are sent to other countries thus making profit. With this program, Apple Inc. has increased its sales in the United States and now it intends to apply the same policy in China.
So the new program will be available in the most populated country on Earth by March 31. Customers who already possess iPhones will have the option of trading their old version of the smartphone for credit, which will be used for buying the new iPhone 6, or other models that are newer than the one they trade. While in the United States the company Apple partnered with was the Brightstar Corp., in China`s case the associated company within this program will be Foxconn, which is the most significant supplier of the American tech giant. The old iPhones will be evaluated and their condition will be taken into consideration. Depending on how well the smartphone presents itself, the staff will offer the Chinese credit that they will use for a new acquisition.
Within the agreement between Apple Inc. and Foxconn it is stipulated that the latter will function as the buyer of the old models of iPhone. Then, if there is need for any repairs, Foxconn will be the ones to perform them. Also, Foxconn will be able to sell the iPhones through sites like FLNet or Taobao.
