The BlackBerry Q10 is the newest QWERTY based smartphone that Blackberry has come up with. There have been many an enthusiastic buyers for this model which is least surprising given it being Blackberry’s tradition forte. However, notwithstanding how great the device is, the Q10 has turned out to be not to everybody’s taste thanks to the high price tag that goes with the model. The Q10 is priced higher than many of the smartphones currently available. That however didn’t stop buyers from picking up the device which is selling like hot cakes.
Thankfully for those who can’t afford the Q10, Research in Motion, is soon going to come up with a BlackBerry smartphone dubbed R10 which would also be QWERTY -abled but will have a moderated price tag. No official information about the smartphone been released as yet though some glimpse of the device gives the following details. These details have been obtained from authentic source and can be very much relied upon to be that of the final product from RIM when it is released it in the market.
The display of the BlackBerry R10 would be of 3.1 inch and will have a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. It would come with 8 GB of internal storage capacity and 2GB of RAM. The battery would be of 1800 mAh, fixed to the set. For camera it would have a rear facing one of 5 megapixel resolution. Then of course the R10 would run on the latest BlackBerry 10 OS.
Users would have the smartphone in colors of Red, Black and White to choose from. Information which once again is not confirmed indicates that Research In motion is going to come out with all the three variants at the launch date itself.
There is however no confirmed dates of release of the R10 by RIM. They have also not announced any price for the R10 smartphone. These would be available over time and enthusiasts would need to keep a sharp look out for the details as and when they are released.
