The developer of Flappy Bird is now ready to launch another game called Ninja Spinki Challenges. In 2013, Flappy Bird captured the public’s imagination. That was a challenging endless runner-type game which placed its creator, Dong Nguyen, into the spotlight. Despite making a considerable amount of money, Nguyen decided to pull his game from Google and Apple’s app stores just a few months later.
Apparently, some would have said that the game is an addictive product which was causing issues for players. The withdrawal of the match gave Nguyen more time to focus and develop new games. After he introduced new seven games including Swing Copters, Nguyen is back on the market, launching a new game called Ninja Spinki Challenges.
The game is said to be very difficult. The newly developed game consists in six mini-games which will challenge the player to unveil his or her fast reactions and dexterity skills to complete it. A timer is set on the screen, counting down while you play. Thus, you will know for sure how much time you survived every challenge.
Similarly to playing Flappy Bird, your index figure will never leave the screen, being your most valuable tool in achieving victory. Apparently, Nguayen, who runs his Gear.studio in Vietnam, was asked by Obokaidem to develop a new IP. Together, the developers managed to reveal a method which starts easy but then enables the difficulty almost immediately as you complete a new round.
Every time you unlock endless versions of every single level the first time you reach to complete them, the new challenges which occur enable your sense of frustration and joy, just like you came to love Flappy Bird. Each level is bound to focus on collecting points instead of using a timer to rely on.
Nguyen decided not to charge players for his new game. Nevertheless, he is prone to use ads, just as he employed in the past for his first breakout. Thus, the ‘Continue’ button will appear on your screen, restarting a level from the same point where your timer stopped after you are presented a video ad which you cannot skip.
The newly developed Ninja Spinki Challenges is now available on Android via Google Play and on iOS via the App Store.
