Before launching, Nintendo Switch should revise some of the features to make sure their product will be well-received by their public. The device is bound to launch in less than a month. Moreover, pre-orders everywhere are already sold out. Experts claim that fundamental changes are not needed. However, there are some things which could be improved.
One of the changes concerns the rental idea of the virtual console game. The new Nintendo Switch should consider revising their online service for the console which is giving out a free game every month. Players who use Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus receive many free games. Nevertheless, Nintendo is not one of them. Nintendo uses a different approach.
The company is determined to grant access to players to a free Virtual Console once a month. When the month is over, players will no longer have access to the game unless they want to pay for this service. Nintendo tries to increase their profits, but this may not be a useful strategy. This may be a useless battle in which they receive a little just because they give a little.
Nintendo has a wide variety of VC games which should become available for gamers for free. Some experts believe that Nintendo should not implement this strategy which was designed to prohibit access to a game after a month. The other change which Nintendo needs to think of after players’ feedback is related to the implementation of a pack-in game.
If the company is bound to replicate the Wii by launching the new Nintendo Switch, then they should think about implementing a new pack-in game similar to Wii Sports. They may experience the same success as they did before. Nintendo is determined to show gamers what their new devices can do, releasing the Switch together with the Joy-Cons and the game 1-2-Switch.
Unfortunately, the 1-2-Switch game is not related to the system as being an inborn tech demo. The game is sold for $50, being ordered separately at a high price considering that it is a limited offering. Some gamers who had the chance to test the new game argued that they were not impressed. Testers believe that 1-2-Switch will not register the same success as Wii did.
