If you have not heard by now, Google is going to launch its own internet service, Google Fiber and wireless service, Project Fi. According to the latest news, their next experimental stage is to test high-sleep wireless across 24 U.S. areas, including 12 cities. They will try out experimental transmitters for a period of two years.
We do not know exactly what are the plans for the giant search engine. Will this project fall on the Fiber side of things or on the Fi’s one? Maybe Google will unify these two at some point. Google Fiber is already operation in San Francisco, Colorado or Virginia. They are using cities with buildings and foliage to test the interference for their radio propagation. Google is also hoping that its partners may participate during the tests.
We already know that the big company acquired Webpass back in June. We will see what will happen and if Google will be able to achieve its goal, high-speed wireless, as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the average user will not be able to test the connection. Google’s wireless fiber will be tested only by its employees, contractor and trusted persons.
Google is an American multinational technology company, which has the most popular search engine in the world. It was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were students at Standford University. They have become one of the strongest companies on the market and there are millions of people who use their apps every day. And they do not want to stop as their next big move is to provide internet service for the United States.
Google has always focused on the customer. According to them, focusing on the user is the most important thing to do, as the rest will follow. Moreover, they think one is able to make money without doing evil. For example, you will not see ads which are not relevant to what you are searching for. Furthermore, they know the need for information crosses all borders. So it should be no surprise to see Google Fiber will be launched in Europe or Asia too, in a few years.
Google is testing high-speed wireless as, for them, speed is one of the most important goals. People should be able to visit or leave a website as quickly as possible. They are trying to make their customers happy so we are expecting that Google Fiber and Project Fi will be a success.
