Motorola X Phone is supposed to be the first flagship by Motorola this year. Since initial announcement of its launch in 2013, different rumors have been encircling it.
Rumors that have flooded the tech forums on this presumed flagship device of Motorola have coincided with those of Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and iPhone 5. The device is being rumored to possess Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. It might be a phablet, a superphone or an average device. Reports reveal that this smartphone device may possess top notch software and superb customizable options with over twenty shades to select from.
There have been several rumors over the launch date as well. It may be released as soon as Google I/O and be launched in the former weeks of July. Google and Motorola have declared that they have new devices for fans for the latter half of this year that utterly indicates to the month of July. However, there have been rumors over the delay of its launch as well. The launch date may be postponed to August according to some sources.
An AnTuTu benchmark has been released recently. The benchmark was first spotted by RBMen, a Japanese language site. This benchmark highlights a ‘Google X’ and not just an ‘X Phone’ or even ‘Motorola X’. It enlists a smartphone running on Android 5.0.1. Android 5.0 is assumed to be the mark for Google’s newer Android version, the Android Key Lime Pie.
The device is being assumed to be powered by 2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. It may also possess a hind case of carbon fiber, edges of rubber bumpers, featuring a 4.8 inches display of sapphire glass.
Nothing has been confirmed yet officially by either Google or Motorola over these specs. But if rumors are to be true, we are going to experience a superior smartphone that might outdo the ones already released this year. We will need to wait until any of the official sites makes a sturdy announcement.
