There have been a lot of rumors regarding HTC Nexus 9 with many tech aficionados waiting patiently for the official release. The successor of Nexus 7 is in the works and its creator is HTC. Supposedly it will come equipped with NVIDIA Tegra K1. Rumors have it that the new HTC Nexus 9 will show its face to the world somewhere in October 2014. The marketing strategy is smart. What better period to release a new product than the holiday season? From what we’ve heard the HTC Nexus 9 could be announced at HTC’s event on October 8th. Other rumors say that the Nexus 9 will not be announced by Google. Decisions, decisions. We tend and hope to believe the first rumor.
Apparently HTC has a producing plant somewhere in Brazil and the Nexus 9 will be shown on October 8th along with its new much-talked-about camera accessory. We’re still not sure if Google are too happy about letting HTC announce the new Nexus 9 but we will wait and see. The previous Nexus models were announced by Google but with a partner like HTC announcing your product doesn’t sound like a very bad idea.
The rumor that HTC Nexus 9 will be announced in October has been circulating for quite some time now so it’s definitely something that will happen. Releasing a new product around Christmas time will certainly have its benefits since plenty of people want to get their hands on an affordable tablet for themselves or as a present for someone else. And the 9 inch tablet will make a very nice present.
Who will deliver the big news about HTC Nexus 9 is still not certain but one thing we know for sure: it will either be HTC or Google. Either way, we can hardly wait.
