It is being estimated that Google is set to release its newer Android version, 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
However, Google has not yet confirmed anything over its official release date or the devices that would be fortunate enough to run on this powerful OS.
There is no scarcity of buzzes regarding this and recently, some sources have revealed that the HTC One X+ will be one of the few devices to experience the Android Key Lime Pie 5.0 at the initial stage of its release.
In May, Google will organize the Google I/O conference for associates, developers, hosting events and workshops for individuals associated with Chrome, Android and more. At almost every I/O conference, the tech-giant comes up with new products. Last year, it announced Android Jelly Bean v4.1.1 and Nexus 7. But for this year, rumors around Android Key Lime Pie v5.0 are hot-on-top.
This new version of Android is being kept a secret and its arrival at the upcoming Google I/O conference has not been confirmed. But buzzes over devices to receive this powerful update do not seem to cool down.
HTC One X+ was released in October 2012 and runs on Android Jelly Bean v.4.1.1. Recently, there were rumors about the device receiving Android v.4.2.2 Jelly Bean update.
Google has made an official statement over its next I/O conference to be held in between May 15 and 17. Previous year, Google unveiled Android v.4.1.1 Jelly Bean in June. So, it is quite possible for fans to expect a newer Android version at the upcoming Google I/O conference.
Some sources reveal that HTC One X+’s last update would be Android Jelly Bean v.4.2.2 but on the contrary, with Google’s next I/O conference knocking at the door, geeks are predicting that HTC One X+ will be one amongst the few to experience Android 5.0 initially.
