E Fun, manufacturer of Android-powered and budget tablets based announces its most recent product, Nextbook Premium 7SE-GP. E Fun is a manufacturer of easy to use, fun products as well as a consumer electronics designer from California. It shall be the first time for E Fun to gain Google Play Store access (that is why there is a GP suffix to Nextbook). Such gives device users access to thousands of apps and games along with millions of songs, movies and e-books. The 7-inch Nextbook includes a 1 GHz processor of Amlogic A9, 1 GB RAM and a touch screen with an 800 by 480 resolution.
The tablet is preloaded with Android 4.0 which can be with either a 4GB or 8GB built-in flash storage. The cloud storage of Google Drive helps the little amount of space onboard. An HDMI output can present multimedia content on monitors or HDTVs which are compatible with it, while a card slot for MicroSD memory makes the memory expandable. A USB port is available for a flash stick or external hard drive to connect for file transfers. Likewise, it can house a 3G dongle that is optional in case access to mobile broadband is needed.
Nextbook Premium 7SE-GP is preloaded with Google’s suite such as Google Maps, Google Talk, Gmail, Google+ and YouTube. The price shall likely make parents buy the tablet for their little ones, hence it includes programs for parental controls of Net Nanny and Productivity Toolbox of CloudLink.
Nextbook may be shipped sometime in December. It is priced at $130 for the 4GB model and $150 for the 8GB.
