It is the fourth year in a row for Verizon as the Numero Uno in Customer Care. This national wireless provider has been impressing JD Power and Associates who have bestowed them with the title. Verizon first snatched the title in 2010 from T-Mobile and has retained since then. It has been giving exceptional service to its customers year after year.
Verizon’s answering services are way ahead from other wireless providers. This is evident from the number of points it earned in a survey of 7332 customers. Verizon got 766 out of 1000, ahead of its closest rival AT&T at 759. The others followed behind- Sprint at 746 and T- Mobile at 715.
Verizon is counted among companies that add to the convenience of international business. It makes connectivity easier for users who are travelling abroad on business or pleasure. This is just one of the many accolades that seem to be coming its way.
The last year saw awards indicating its performance in various fields. Its support for war veterans and commitment in providing them a livelihood ranked it 15 amongst the “Top 100 Military friendly employers”. Its support for Guard and Reserve employees saw it receive Secretary of Defence Employer Support Freedom Award.
The National Business Group has recognised Verizon’s commitment to improve their employers’ health and lifestyle with relevant programs. It has also been named among 40 companies to encourage diversity amongst its employers by including African Americans.
Verizon can easily be given the sobriquet of ‘The Award Company’ by the number of awards that continue to come its way. Its leaders have also been recognized for their contributions. Todd Bell and Lowell Adams have been named as the ‘Computer Premier 100 IT Leader for 2013’ and ’25 Most Powerful People in US wireless 2012’ respectively.
