The Japanese video games company Nintendo seems eager to get back in the tops of the most relevant game publishers, after a break during which the Japanese publisher seemed to miss the spotlight. Officials talking on behalf of Nintendo and also on behalf of the Universal theme parks have recently announced a partnership in order to bring some Nintendo classics as attractions to the Universal parks throughout the world. The Japanese video games company has announced its plans to get right back on track and developing mobile games might be just the solution for them. The revival of the classics in gaming that keep the nostalgia at high levels has begun, at least it looks like that. The latest announcement released by Nintendo concerning the future of the company coincides with the releasing of the new Snake game, designed for smartphones and with features that add to the fun provided by the good old Snake games. And as the end of this month is going to bring the newest Snake game, March 2017 will bring Nintendo mobile games and the tech enthusiasts and the gamers could not have been happier about it.
Even if not much info has been uncovered in connection to the mobile games by Nintendo, coming in March 2017, the president Satoru Iwata has revealed in a statement during a meeting with the investors that a total of 5 titles will be launched by Nintendo two years from now.
“We aim to make each title a hit, and…operate every one of them for a significant amount of time after their releases,”
Satoru Iwata said in a statement. The Nintendo official has added that a total of five mobile games represents a proof of the company`s determination to get back the attention of the gamers and customers all over the globe. Also, according to Satoru Iwata, this plan represents an important step by Nintendo, as the Japanese company intends to grow in the field of smartphones and tablets.
Iwata has affirmed that an important factor that influenced the new strategy and targets at Nintendo has been the continuous growth of the mobile deviecs, which have become more popular than ever and that represent one of the most profitable markets.
The president Satoru Iwata has added that the smart gadgets field is seen at Nintendo as one of the next pillars of the company, regarding the earnings.
