As is already well known by now, the long wait for the Moto X has finally reached the terminal stages with the device all set to be launched pretty soon. However, that isn’t the only device that the Google subservient is planning to launch this summer. For there also exists in the pipeline a low cost smartphone named DFX which is aimed for emerging markets. However, the biggest surprise here is the new addition to the Droid line which Motorola is developing to be launched exclusive by Verizon.
According to some of the previous leaks, Verizon and Motorola have in their kitty the Droid Ultra, Droid Ultra M and also Droid Ultra Maxx. Now @evleaks is claiming that the original names of these devices are Droid Mini, Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx. That is not all for @evleaks has also come up with an image supposed to be that of the Droid Maxx.
By looking at the information so far, which the @evleaks considers to be final, what seems apparent is that the latest Droid devices will not deviate from the Verizon’s devices last year. According to a leaked photo, the device comes with similar Kevlar back along with features and looks that one expects from a Droid device. The device also comes with capacitive keys which again are quite unlikely, considering the fact that the Droid Razr Maxx comes with onscreen keys while Google too mostly favors on screen keys other than physical buttons.
Another suspicious thing to notice is the absence of a Verizon and the Motorola logo. This is supposed to be the second device after the HTC One to come up without a clear Verizon logo. As of now, one might also keep in mind that they are only looking at the things that does not have a final render and is also not quite accurate. From the given information, one can only make an assumption.
