Most phone makers are now focusing on how they can incorporate Jelly Bean which is the latest Android operating system version that offers smooth options and better usability to the consumers. Motorola has now made an announcement that they have decided to upgrade Motorola Droid RAZR and Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX with Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean soon and they will start testing the update to ensure that the consumers are able to make use of the new operating system on both the handsets. Motorola Mobility has already provided a report on this stating that the tests will be conducted also known as soak test that will determine if the handset can handle Jelly Bean updates.
Motorola Mobility has said that they have already sent out invites to the members of the Motorola Feedback Network regarding the software update and once the test results are positive Motorola will add the Jelly Bean updates to both the devices.
According to the official information provided by Motorola the company has decided to come up with the new operating system towards the end of the first quarter. Motorola claims that both Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX are the newest and flagship smartphones for the company and therefore they would like to incorporate it with the best Android operating system.
Motorola said that at the moment they already have two Droid handsets that are providing Jelly Bean experience to the consumers. The all new Droid M and Droid RAZR HD are two smartphones that the company launched in the last few months and have been doing well. The company claims that they would like to live up with the high expectations that consumers have from the new devices. However, both the new devices will offer similar features and interface as older Verizon Droid handsets. So far Motorola has not commented anything about the fix dates when the Jelly Bean updates will happen.
