Asus brings on the market only high-class gadgets that take your breath away. The Zenbook is most definitely one of them and the name succeeds in saying it all in a single glimpse. Opening up like a book, it brings the “zen” closer to the eye of the beholder. The Ultrabook has a 13.3 inches diagonal, so it’s quite generous and neat. The producing company says that this is the slimmest of its kind, measuring 0.48 inches and weighing about 2.6 pounds. The In-Plance Switching (IPS) Full HD 1080P display offers an impressive video experience and it surely stands out in comparison to other former models.
The processor is dual-core, Intel Core 5Y10, and the memory is flawless: 8GB of LPDDR3-1600 RAM – so no need for lecithin! Everything you need will be gathered around the table because the 256GB of solid state drive are enough for any data base. Of course, the power of connections dictates with a lot of power: the 802.11n Wi-Fi and 4.0 Bluetooth can do it all. In what the camera’s possibilities are concerned, the laptop has a 720p HD webcam, so maintaining the long-distance relationships vivid and strong is not an issue anymore. In addition, it has a micro HDMI output, three USB 3.0 ports, one of which is a charging port, audio jack combo – so maybe you fancy karaoke – a SD card reader to fast data reading, Asus Sonic Master audio system for producing incredible music and a 45Wh battery that promises to last even after the movie has ended. Last but not least, the operating system that is incorporated brings it to the new level: Windows 8.1 says it all.
The representatives of Asus have made several public statements about the new release.
“A refined new shape that incorporates the DNA of the classic ZenBook gives the UX305 a subtle new wedge design with elegantly-tapered and smooth diamond-cut edges that emphasize the sleek ultra-thin chassis. The full-size ergonomic keyboard features an improved layout for comfortable and accurate typing coupled with a large responsive touchpad that supports Smart Gestures for precise control of Windows 8.1.”
They also added that Asus has a tradition of combining performance with luxury, and that the beautiful UX30 ultraportable is available in a sophisticated new Obsidian Stone color with ZenBook’s signature spun-metal finish with its Zen-inspired concentric circle pattern. As a conclusion, the new Asus Zenbook UX305 Ultrabook is ready to rumble: fire with fire, because high standards deserve high quality services.
As far as the price is concerned, it is rather affordable for all these specifications: $699. An alternative to it could be the model that has a QHD+ (3200×1800) display, but the price for it hasn’t been released yet.
