You will soon be able to be up-to-date to all the new songs of your favorite artists with Google Play Music. New Release Radio will begin rolling out for all users this week, but it’s still not clear how much it will take until everybody can benefit from it.
Get all the new music you want to hear with New Release Radio
New Release Radio brings you a collection of fresh songs personalized for each user. The feature will analyze your music taste and listening history, and recommend you new releases among the same lines. Therefore, you won’t get anything which doesn’t fit in your musical profile.
As Google has already gotten us used to, it makes use of machine learning technology to determine what should come into your playlist. It analyzes the songs you listened to for the last two weeks, and then creates your own radio station with what’s new in the field you are already interested in. New Release Radio selects both singles and full album versions of the songs, so it should come up with an interesting combination.
The feature is not a Samsung exclusive
New Release Radio gets updated every day, so you shouldn’t get bored of it. You can also help it gather new information by listening to plenty of music. If it has ‘learning’ material, it should know what to show you next.
This feature was released for the first time as some sort of exclusive for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. In fact, this was only early access, as Google announced it will roll out New Release Radio for all users. Several non-Samsung users could benefit from the feature starting June 21st, but the company is not done yet with delivering it to everybody.
