Last week in San Francisco at OpenWorld presentation, Oracle released 17 publications. The most important information that Larry Ellison made public at this conference was Oracle’s new second-generation cloud facilities. Despite the fact that the market is ten years old, Oracle company believes that the public network is an optimistic perspective in the business world.
The vice president of Oracle who is in charge of the market technology department, explains in a conference with VentureBeat that they just managed to finish the first frame. There are a few questions that still arise like how big the number of companies that will stick with Oracle’s network as a service and after they test it, could be. The media wonders if Oracle will spend enough money to contribute to the expansion of the worldwide data center’s equipment. Does Oracle have the right team which would regularly publish and upgrade services just to remain competitive?
Oracle is sure of the fact that more people would use, with an increased frequency, the public network in the years to come. The International Data Corporation (IDC) argued last April that in 2020 30.2 percent of the IT resources will be on the public network. A very important survey conducted by 451 Research revealed that six percent of all the company’s productivity is functioning on public networks. Oracle just needs to keep up the good work in order to receive a profit growth.
Oracle is competing with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) AND Amazon Web Services (AWS) and this is the reason why it needs to add up to its market share. Representatives from Oracle remain optimistic, hoping for Oracle to become more prosperous that HP, Dell, VMware, and Rackspace.
Don Johnson, a representative from Oracle, stated at OpenWorld that their company is thinking of trying a divergent approach. They detain the proprietorship of their software stack and also possess fundamental investing. Oracle has not just assembled a bundle of pieces and attempted to present it as a public cloud. They are better than that, and they have proved it in time.
Johnson claimed that Oracle’s ability of accelerated shipping is due to the fact that people reached out to the Oracle network organization after using companies like Facebook, Dropbox, Amazon, Pinterest, and Google.
Oracle is a well-developed company which improved their services over the years and made the numbers of their customers increase. After this bundle of information reached you, how would you explain Oracle’s evolution?
