At home, users use multiple devices with small screens and it is perfectly normal that they want to share content from the phone or tablet, with friends and family by displaying movies and photos on a larger screen. With them Miracast technology, the new Philips monitor can display content from tablets and smartphones that are Android compatible, allowing people to share a high-definition multimedia experience in real time. The Miracast technology is activated on the display by pressing the monitor base.
Philips Miracast, high-end technology
When Philips Miracast is on and a device is recognized, everything – from general interface to applications and videos – is duplicated in HD quality on the big screen monitor. Users that do not have certified Miracast devices have an alternative: using MHL technology, they can connect their mobile devices to the monitor via an optional MHL cable and then watch HD clips with digital sound on a 23-inch screen.
The LED IPS technology provides excellent images, accurate colors and wide viewing angles, so friends and family can watch together holiday movies. The Philips Miracast monitor provides crisp images and vivid colors, ensuring HD viewing quality.
The Philips Miracast display also has some smart features that provide optimal performance in all scenarios. The SmartImage technology analyzes the content displayed on the screen and adjusts the contrast and colors depending on it. The SmartKolor improves the color palette on the screen and the SmartConstrast provides rich detail for an immersive viewing experience. Currently, Philips is offering the 239C4QHWAB Miracast screen for £249.
