Chevrolet is stepping up the game with a sleeker, more sports look for the second best pick-up seller in the U.S., Silverado.
Silverado just got a new look with its newly redesigned front-end. Yes, it is a mid-cycle refresh and Silverado is still alive and well, bringing weight to General Motors’ lineup. Not only is Silverado the best-selling vehicle from the General Motor’s lineup, but it is also the second in line nationwide, after Ford’s F series pickup.
Clearly, Silverado gets all the attention from General Motors in an attempt to seize the moment and build on the sales performance of the pick up. According to Sandor Piszar, the marketing director of Chevy Trucks:
“The Silverado 2016 will build on Chevy Trucks’ legacy of dependability. It will feature a more muscular appearance and offer new customer-focused technologies.”
So, what’s in store for the 2016 Silverado? For once, the front end design gets a makeover to feature more sports like, yet muscular horizontal elements, as well as a sculpted hood. Another announced feature it that the 2016 Silverado will sport wider availability of the 8-speed automatic transmission.
Bold and muscular, but safe. Chevrolet 2016 Silverado will boast additional safety technologies, as well as a sleek touch screen to satisfy Android and Apple fans alike. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are both supported by 2016 Silverado’s integrated touchscreen.
Silverado 1500 was introduced on the U.S. market in 2013 spring. Since, sales spiked by 10 percent. Just the first half of this year, Silverado sales grew by 14.6 percent, according to the figures released by General Motors.
Voted the Truck of the Year following its release, Silverado is now enjoying a new makeover that will come with the 2016 Silverado model.
