One of the most awaited gadgets is the next iPad 5. it might seem pretty soon for rumors to crop
up for the device, given the fact that the iPad 4 has just entered the market on November 2, 2012.
These rumors have flooded the internet and many new sources are claiming of what is the assumed
released date of the tablet. The iPad 4 has been in the market for only 2 months however new
sources suggest that the Apple iPad 5 release date will be somewhere in early 2013. March of 2013
has been suggested by a Japanese site Macotacara.
It is clear now that Apple is concerned about the competition and its position in the market, as the
launch of the iPad Mini and iPad 4 was not met with as much enthusiasm as expected by Apple.
Even the sales are not impressive since the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 from Google got better reviews
than the equivalent offerings from Apple. Now Apple has ditched its policy of releasing one product
in one year as it needs to keep up with the competition with the latest technology and specs. By
going along these clues, Apple should surely by coming up with the iPad 5 by May 2013.
The iPad 5 is rumored to sport the super high resolution from Sharp – the IGZO screen display
technology. This display will be 9.7 inches big diagonally. This display will be protected by
Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and will be thinner – making the display more responsive. The tablet is said
to be thinner by 2mm than iPad 4 and to feature a bezel similar to that of the iPad Mini. It will have
the Lightning Connector port as well as support for 4G LTE. A new A6X processor will make the
Apple iPad 5 twice as fast as its predecessor.
