More than 100 million units of Galaxy S smartphones have been sold till now.The South Korean phonemaker reported that some 24 million units of the first device were sold and 10 million were bought during the first 7 months of its launch.Samsung apparently has put on the market more than forty million Galaxy S 2 smartphones,twenty five million Galaxy S smartphones,and forty one million Galaxy S 3 smartphones.
The original Galaxy S model by Samsung came at in 2010, when it was struggling to become equal with Apple that was already reshaping the market with the iPhone.Samsung was fast and smart to understand the emerging market and quickly narrowed the gap with its biggest competitor and smartphone makers.Samsung is already ahead of Nokia in sales of cellphone and has already crossed Apple smartphone sales last year.
Apple’s was able to reach the 100-million mark nearly after four years of the introduction of the phone.Analysts already expect Samsung to introduce the 4rth version of Galaxy S smartphone.With Apple already cutting down on its orders for the iPhone5 components,due to weaker than expected demand, it is a clear indication that Samsung sales are still flourishing.
The popular series of Galaxy S smartphones by the Korean company has already crossed a key milestone.The smartphones crossed the 100 million unit mark in less than 3 years.More of those Galaxy S2 units sold in the market despite being there for a much lesser period of time.
Samsung might unveil its Galaxy S4 device in February this year at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress,although the company officials still treat

iPhones,only the best will surge ahead.However,Samsung seems to be the only one making profits and the latest data shows that it enjoys a 10% lead in mobile marketshare in US over everyone else.
