Major US carriers began providing Samsung’s latest flagship weeks back. But the largest of them, Verizon, was the last to include the device in its database. Previously, Verizon Wireless chose May 30 to be the release date of Samsung Galaxy S4. This was indeed frustrating news for Verizon users.
But reportedly, Verizon has pushed the date to a week before. Samsung Galaxy S4 will arrive at Verizon on May 23. You just need to wait a week more to purchase the device. This updated announcement was being displayed at the official forum of Verizon Wireless.
None other than AT&T has agreed to carry the 32GB S4 Variant. All other US carriers, including Verizon are only interested in the 16GB variant. 32GB Galaxy S4 will probably arrive on AT&T at the end of May.
Verizon Wireless is charging the same for 16GB S4 as AT&T is. At $200 on-2-year-contract, Verizon S4 will be yours. But if you want to purchase the 4.99 inches flagship unlocked, Verizon Wireless will facilitate so at $650.
The on-contract pricing of S4 on Verizon and AT&T is $50 more than that on T-Mobile and Sprint. If you have already placed a pre-order at Verizon, then you are set to grab the device within a week, though delay in shipping is never pre-notified.
S4 remains one of the best flagships by Samsung till now. Samsung has already shipped 6 million S4s. A 4 million was distributed within the first four days of its launch, and within two weeks the figure rounded up to 2 million more. Samsung’s aim to ship 10 million S4 devices within the first month is highly possible. This sales record is notches above its predecessor, as S3 took 21 days to cover up 3 million sales.
