If you’re not familiar with Spotify, it’s a music streaming service that allows you access to more than 20 million songs on many mobile devices for a monthly fee. Spotify was launched in 2008 and this is the first time they redesigned it. And we love what they’ve done to it.
The new Spotify design features simpler display screens, bigger letters, curved icons and buttons and it doesn’t have that oldish gray color anymore. It’s all black now. Spotify has also improved the playlist: you can save songs and albums with the feature called Your Music. This helps organize your favorite music just by clicking the Save button. The new Browse function suggests music based on the time of day and region. For example, if it’s morning, Spotify will suggest to you songs that will go very well with your morning rituals.
Spotify new and improved features make a difference
The new Spotify will appeal to the old fans and will definitely win some new ones. The new and improved features are not only design-wise, and although the black exterior looks awesome, the interior features are also very useful and really make a difference, simplifying the search engines, the music suggestions and the personal library functions.
Michelle Kadir,the Director of product development said that the users’ feedback was very important in rethinking and developing the Spotify new and improved features.
