T-Mobile has finally released a TV subscription app for iPhone users. Those willing to pay the subscription fees can enjoy live TV shows, pre-aired programs and videos clips of their favorite TV programs by downloading the T-Mobile TV app from App Store.
The initial subscription fee begins from $12.99/month. You can subscribe to the paid application for six months at $49.99/month, and for 3 months at $33.99. However, users get to download the application absolutely free.
If you do not wish to subscribe, you can enjoy video clips from Fox News, Associated Press, ACC Digital Network, Campus Insiders, Saturday Morning TV and other popular TV networks.
But if you want to transform your iPhone into a mini TV, you will have to subscribe in order to stream your adored TV programs live. You can access exclusive contents from Mobile TV, ESPN, CBS Sports and NBC Sports. If you like to catch up with live news telecast, you can do so via ABC News Now, Fix News, Bloomberg, Fox Business, etc.
You can also stream exclusive contents from demandable TV channels like the MTV, ABC Family, Comedy Central, Spike, and VH1. We are not sure if you can enjoy live streaming over these networks, but most likely, you will be able to view them on your device after they have been telecasted, just like at their official web channels.
However, if you do not want to subscribe to all these networks and only some selected ones, you can pay for selective kits. Some of these kits include Playground TV kids (Nick JR, Sesame Street, drama and PBS Kids), Life and Style, Crackle Movies, and the urban zone. Some of these packs include drama and reality TV series, stand-up comedies, R and B music clips, BET, etc.
AirPlay is not supported by this application and video playback quality is not so satisfactory, so it’s certainly not an ultimatum to substitute your cable TV subscription with.
