Netflix is starting to become a mean machine when it comes to exclusive and original programs, the company just recently announced its first original movie will be coming next year, named The Square, it focuses on the events leading up to the Egyptian revolution.

This time, Netflix has gained a popular and powerful exclusive, four new superhero shows scheduled for 2015 release. All four shows are from the Marvel universe and will contain all the characters we know and love from the various Marvel comics, movies and TV shows in the past.

Marvel and Netflix have had big deals in the past, the biggest deal Netflix has ever had allowed the video streaming service to have exclusive rights to all Marvel films as soon as they leave the cinema in 2016 – this deal is expected to rake in the cash for Netflix, with Marvel lovers from all over the world grabbing a few months of the service to check out all the new series and movies.

Netflix has been moving more to original programming in order to cut the costs of paying a third party company for content, but the base of the service relies on excellent and exclusive content to keep fan bases from all around the world interested.

Reports say Breaking Bad, the AMC program, brought in millions of new Netflix users. The streaming service gained a huge amount due to the next day availability and the almost exclusive on demand offering, drawing in millions of loyal Breaking Bad fans.

The Marvel deal does point at bigger deals to come, but Netflix has been knocking back traditional deals if they are not good enough and has been dropping plenty of third party content to make more profit on their users.

Perhaps soon we will see another studio or TV program hit the streaming service before anywhere else, it would be nice to see AMC or another studio make an exclusive deal with Netflix, but until the service becomes more dominant in America it is unlikely to happen.
