Following an already established tradition of stumbling upon leaked information from Apple, the newest rumors surrounding the tech giant imply that we will have a new gadget on our hands soon enough, the next gen MacBook Air which is said to feature an unprecedented 12-inch screen, the sweet high-res “Retina” display and a new trackpad design, eliminating the mechanical button, an advancement that might further slim down MacBook models, as the tech implies force sensors and actuator feedback, according to the rumors.
Where are these rumors coming from, however? Well, it is not a surprise that Apple files for patents for all sorts of tech developments and it seems it was awarded such patent for the new trackpad design, therefore we have a few sources to look at when talking about Apple’s intentions to once again rule the market in the laptop niche.
A Weiphone poster leaked the next gen MacBook Air features and MacRumors confide in the information released, as they proved reliable and true in the past, so even if we don’t know yet an official release date or a price, we know new MacBook models are not scheduled to be launched earlier than September this year, so perhaps the next gen MacBook Air will be the grand surprise of this fall.
But… Apple is known for hitting the market when the competitors least expect it and given the mystery surrounding some of the newest projects and products, we can’t wait for some official data to hit our news feed: we may be soon expecting the hot iWatch (leaked in the past, but now considered a project with enough development potential to accompany the next gen MacBook Air in September), not to mention the new stylus for the iPad we have talked about no later than yesterday. Apple Healthbook? Upcoming front and center. Is this going to be Apple’s year of ultimate glory in all fields of mobile tech and smart devices? Given what the competition is coming with, this is going to certainly be a very interesting market share to watch…
