Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Sets New Standards
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 sets new standards when it comes to the newest gadgets. It is not about the fact that it’s new, but because the gear inside is top notch and it really makes any gadget lover want to have it. Let’s just think about it for a second: a Skylake chip, greatly improved SSD speed and the brand new Type Cover keyboard. Is there anything not to like?
Perhaps what is most awesome about the new Surface is that it learned from its predecessor, the Surface 3 and it carried on the legacy of an outstanding gadget. It didn’t only take the good things, but it improved the drawbacks and made the device ten times better. And this is important news for any buyer. In this world in which everything evolves so fast, you need to know that you have developers worrying about your needs and who want to make better things for you, not just take away your cash.
But the real test has yet to come. The business world of tablets is becoming a more complicated environment to live in. Things were not as easy as they were a few years back when you’d only get 2-3 willing competitors and you could chop off 35% of the market. There are new players in town and devices like the Vaio Canvas and the Lenovo Mix 700 are also going to come in and munch whatever they can.
When the official race will start, people are going to look at everything. What’s the processor? What’s the speed? What’s the price? Do I need a processor like this one, or can I afford it? It all goes down to details and whether the buyer wants it or not. We know for a fact that buyers want it, as the demand for tablets is ever rising.
Since business is moving so fast nowadays, people are faced with two situations: you either carry a laptop and your phone around, or you purchase a tablet and you make your job a lot easier. Our jobs, or even egos, can demand a tablet so the hunt begins. If the Surface Pro 4 manages to land some good reviews and sales, it is going to remain the coolest trend, at least for a while.
So it really falls down to how Microsoft performs, but in performance and advertising. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 sets new standards, but they also have to make it seem totally worth it.
