At the beginning of this month we covered the news that Facebook is planning to add an in-app digital payment service to their Messenger application, which would allow users to send money to friends, over the app. Today, we’re going to give you some details about a new feature: Facebook now allows stickers in comments!
Facebook Now Allows Stickers in Comments
In case words fail you when you feel the need to comment to your friend’s status updates, links, videos and pictures, you need to know that Facebook now allows stickers in comments. Let Pusheen do the talking for you, or let the ever-so-eloquent Tuzki express your feelings for you, without having to type in the words in the comment box.
Facebook has been ignoring its users for years about a much needed dislike button, but it seems that it caved in and Facebook now has sticker supports in the comment sections. Stickers have been around Facebook for more than a year, having been introduced in April 2013, but now things are getting more serious!
Facebook has begun rolling out this new stickers in comments feature yesterday, so don’t worry if it’s not yet visible with your account, know that it’s coming. You get a small pop-up message that tells you about the new feature and then it goes away as swiftly as it had appeared.
Nobody expected stickers to be so popular and it seems that they’ll grow to be even more popular in the months to come, after Facebook allowing them into the comment section. There’s a wide range of sticker themes to choose from, starting with the classic Meep, to Pusheen the fat cat, Power Rangers, the Pixar Pack, Party Fowls, Biscuit and Opi. Sports related stickers are also available and the good news is that they’re all free!
