Seventeen years after the iconic game The Sims made its entrance in the PC world, Electronic Arts revealed that the popular game will soon go mobile. On Wednesday, the company announced that they were preparing a special version of The Sims which will be available on Android and iOS.
If you were anxious to play god with your family of Sims even outside desktop, the time has finally come. The mobile version of the game will work just like players got used to over the years. You will be able to customize your characters, design their homes, have them interact with each other, and make them do whatever you want them to do.
The Sims mobile brings new features
However, Electronic Arts did not want to stop here, and they brought some new features into the game. After you create a Sim, the game now allows you to follow it throughout generations. Over time, you will be able to unlock different heirlooms or other special boosters but, to do that, you have to be patient.
Your Sim has to follow its dreams first. Namely, it has to advance in its career and then retire. Only after that will you be able to benefit from the special heirlooms. Until you reach these goals, Electronic Arts promises you will not get bored.
The game had gone off the desktop before
This is not the first attempt of the company to bring The Sims off the desktop. They have also released another mobile version of the game, The Sims Freeplay, as well as a Facebook version called The Sims Social. However, none of these previous games promised such a complex gameplay and special features like the upcoming title.
Electronic Arts have not announced yet when they will be releasing The Sims mobile version. Also, they have not revealed any information regarding a future price. They advised fans to stay tuned and be patient, as they will shortly announce more on the matter.
