The announcement that Microsoft has made in connection to the American company`s new operating system has made a lot of fuss around itself. And now, debates are about to grow in number over the internet with a Windows 10 launch date accidentally revealed by an official representing AMD.
Windows has recently announced major changes in the way their upcoming operating system, the improved version of Windows, named Windows 10 will look like. The American tech giant has taken a series of measure to ensure that Windows 10 will be a hit, since they are in great need of an operating system which will not be the subject of countless debates over the internet, within which both the tech enthusiasts and the tech analysts express their opinions on whether an operating system by Microsoft is an improvement to previous versions or a system which has to avoided. So the American tech company has to come up with something that would be generally accepted by everyone as a considerable enhancement an a must buy in the software field.
For instance, the forever mocked Internet Explorer will also be replaced with a brand new Spartan explorer, which will probably start to be featured on Microsoft operating system run computers with the arrival of Windows 10.
The chief executive officer of AMD, Lisa Su, has recently let the official date of release of the new operating system by Microsoft, Windows 10 slip out of her speech at the Microsoft quarterly earnings call, an event which took place last Thursday. According to Lisa Su, Windows 10 will be launched in July, this year.
“With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we’re watching, sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up,”
was the statement that Su has made, answering a question raised by an analysts.
This date that Su has accidentally revealed has not yet been confirmed by Microsoft, obviously. So there is no certainty regarding Lisa Su`s comment, but as chief executive officer talking on behalf of an important CPU and GPU manufacturer, AMD, she is extremely well informed on such matters, without any doubts.
Most tech analysts say that, if Windows 10 was to be released in July, AMD might count on that rumor to be true, as Radeon R9-300, their upcoming graphics card, could be scheduled for launch at the end of June.
