Lenovo has introduced another PC to play with; except for this time the IdeaCentre Horizon Table
PC aims at bringing people together. The 27 inch touch screen gives ample space to work on or play
games with your friends, or just convert the screen into a multimedia theater at home. It would not
be practical to carry a 27 inch screen around your house, that is why the IdeaCentre Horizon Table,
running on the latest Windows 8, implements a unique hinge system which allows the user to let
screen stand upright or lay down on a flat surface.
The touch screen PC packs a powerful Intel Core i7 ivy bridge processor along with 8GB ddr3
RAM. There is a Nvidia GeForce 620M GT 1GB graphics card which can display a resolution up to
1920 x 1080 on the 27 inch screen. This allows the users to have a crisp display. 1 terabyte of disk
space coupled with a 64GB SSD ensure that your Windows 8 will boot up in a snap. Dolby Digital
stereo speakers, 720p camera, HDMI out, inbuilt Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, card reader, USB 3.0 etc are
the other bells and whistles of the tablet PC.
The touch screen is really advanced. It supports up to 10 fingers at one time and allows two or
more people to use the screen at the same time. Once the IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC is lying
horizontally on a surface, a special UI developed by Lenovo – Aura – takes over. Aura allows quick
access to multimedia and gaming content; and also allows downloads from the Lenovo App Shop,
an app store with more than 5000 apps from popular sources like Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, FilmOn
TV and even the BlueStacks collection. The IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC also supports unique
gaming joysticks which makes gaming on the tablet on of its kind.
