When Apple announced the release of their wireless AirPods, many people were skeptical. However, it seems that they surprised their users positively, as a new survey points out. Many people declared themselves content with the earbuds and would recommend them to friends.
98 percent of AirPods users are satisfied with the product
The market research company Creative Strategy, together with Experian, decided to see how happy users are with their AirPods. After questioning almost 1,000 AirPod users, they discovered the overwhelming acceptance rate of 98 percent.
More precisely, 82 percent of the participants declared themselves very satisfied with the earbuds. The remaining 16 percent were only satisfied. This leaves us with merely 2 percent who were either undecided or dissatisfied, with no respondents being very dissatisfied.
Nevertheless, the satisfaction rate is tremendous. The main Creative Strategy analyst Ben Bajarin declared that this is the highest acceptance level ever recorded by an Apple product. Other products which scored over 90 percent regarding customer satisfaction were the 2007 iPhone, with 92 percent, the 2010 iPad with 92 percent, and the 2015 Apple Watch with 97 percent.
AirPods, a great success for Apple
Among the top features of the AirPods, users mentioned the great range which provides a flawless wireless connection with the iPhone. Also, the battery life is impressive, and the compact case is effective and offers a fast charging speed.
However, these earbuds are risky, as they might slip off from time to time, especially if the user is engaging in some intense physical activity. Also, the certain reviews regarded the sound quality as barely average.
Despite the minor disadvantages, users still declare themselves in love with the earbuds. The words which came up the most in the surveys were fit, convenient, but also love and magic, suggesting that Apple has succeeded in charming their customers again.
