Amazon Dash is a bar code scanner provided with voice recognition abilities that allows you to do the shopping from the comfort of your kitchen. How does it work? Officials say it is the easiest and friendliest grocery shopping assistant gizmo ever: if you wake up on a Sunday morning and realize you are low on milk and dairy, the cereals are gone and you miss a few veggies for tomorrow’s dinner, you take the Amazon Dash and scan the bar codes of the products you need for the next day, making sure you never get out of stock of fresh products. However, some products don’t have bar codes on them. No problem for the Amazon Dash, as you can speak to it and it recognizes what you need. Next, you should go to your Amazon Fresh ordering list, check it out and place your order. Just as some specialists said, make sure your kids didn’t order the entire stock of chocolate bars available on the site, though. Since Amazon Dash is connected to your Wi – Fi network, it can help you refill and restock your groceries as you conveniently check the fridge and the cupboard for supplies.
Amazon Dash isn’t the first grocery assistant gizmo on the market, of course, but it is intimately tied to Amazon Fresh. Although there still are a lot of details to be unveiled soon, the company seems to be way ahead of Google, which we reported recently to intend to stick its foot better in the business of online shopping and product home delivery.
