There has been a lot of news recently about Amazon’s latest products. Amazon Fire TV and the Amazon Smartphone, to name just a few. Now they’ve announced the release of Kindle Fire HD Kids edition. Although the TV and the phone are decent devices, Amazon is really good at making e-readers and tablets. They’ve just announced the release of 4 new Kindle Fire HD tablets.
First one is called Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 and it comes with a 2.5GHz. quad core Snapdragon 805 processor. Amazon stated that the new Snapdragon 805 will make graphics move 70% faster, and manages to keep the battery running for 12 hours. The new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an upgraded WI-FI, Dolby Atmos surround sound and a Dynamic Light control that will make the pages of resemble real paper regardless of lighting conditions. Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 will be priced at $379 and will be available in October.
The new Kindle Fire HD tablets will be available in 6 and 7 inches screen sizes, a 720p display, a 1.5 GHz quad core processor, 2 cameras (front and back) and Dolby Digital Plus Audio. The new Kindle Fire HD tablets will be available in white, black, magenta, cobalt and citron. The 6 inch model costs $99 and the 7 inch model is $139.
Amazon also announced a Kindle Fire HD Kids Edition. The new tablets were designed with children in mind and they will come in a rubber case to absorb the inevitable accidents and droppings. The Kindle Fire HD Kids Edition comes with a 2 year “worry-free” guarantee and it costs $149 and $189, for the 6 and the 7 inch models.
