On January 31, Square Enix is bound to unveil all the projects which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their series, namely Final Fantasy, also revealing more details about the new game. Square Enix is one of the most famous video game company. This celebration makes fans wonder what new projects will trigger them to spend their savings.
Back in 2015, the video game franchise announced Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The newly developed remake granted their fans to expect a clue regarding the release date and a new game. Considering the fact that this game is bound to appear in separate installments, the first part of the match will most likely appear by the end of 2017.
Square Enix is definitely prone to promote their biggest and most famous game which gathered a lot of fans, and it is currently under development. The good news is that Final Fantasy XV is already in stores. If the company is willing to make all fans even more pleased about Final Fantasy, they could include some downloadable material with anniversary content in the schedule of DLC launches.
Regarding the online discussions among fans, they are expecting to hear something about the PC port. The greatest rumor which got everyone’s attention was that Square Enix is preparing a Final Fantasy Collection which will comprise the first nine games of the series, appearing on a single platform in high definition. Most of the high definition versions are already available for consoles, PC, and mobile.
Nevertheless, a single platform which could comprise them all could only be great news for the hardcore fans. However, they believe that the rumors may be too good to be true or probably too expensive for them to be able to afford the Final Fantasy Collection.
The most reasonable scenarios would be the release of a disc containing the first six parts of the game in 2D while the second appealing idea would be to launch a drive comprising all PlayStation 1 chapters starting with Final Fantasy 7 and ending with Final Fantasy 9. Fans also hope for another port like a version of FF 13, FF13-2 together with Lightning Returns for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A few months ago, the PS3/Xbox 360 originals already appeared for PC with some graphic updates.
