If you own an Android device but you love Apple Music, this new update is the one for you. Finally, Apple Music made an update for the Android version of the app. Android users can now enjoy the feature iOS users had for a long time.
Despite the fact that this app received an update for the iOS version last year, Android users had to wait until now to receive the same update. In the meantime, Apple Music released the 2.0 version for iPhones in 2016, more than 6 months ago. The update came with a new interface and navigation system.
Features Added On Apple Music Android App
New features were also added to this version, including a much-appreciated option for on-screen lyrics. The change in the navigation system is a great thing too. Both iOS and Android users can now search for their music easier, a great improvement since most people use the app while they are on the go.
The newly-added navigation system is divided into 4 categories: Browse, Radio, For You, and Library. Since people don’t always have an internet connection, especially when they are on the road, Apple Music added another much-awaited feature. Offline streaming is now also available, users now being able to download music and enjoy it during the moments when they don’t have internet access.
The Android app has pretty much the same features as the iOS one. With this update, they almost look the same too. Now it is much faster to search for music on the Apple Music Android app. The changes that were made could make this app more popular among Android users.
In order to make the app personalized for every user, this new update added the section For You. This is where you can find music that is suited for your taste. You can receive albums and playlist recommendations powered by your search history.
The app is available on Google Play. Any user can download it and enjoy it for free for the first 3 months. After that, you will have to pay $10 every month. Those who already have the app installed can check for updates on Google Play.
