The new Asus Transformer Book Trio wants to reinvent the laptop making it a cross between a traditional laptop and a tablet. Could it be a “tabtop” or a “lablet”? It sounds good either way. The new Asus is actually three in one. You open it and run it on Windows 8.1, just like with a laptop, you use the keyboard and mouse of the laptop with the Android OS built inside the screen. And the best part is that you can use the screen as a tablet because, you guessed it, it’s detachable. Sounds neat.
Asus Transformer Trio Book comes with a HD touchscreen of 11.6 inch. The tablet side of this device comes with a dual-core Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor that runs pretty fast and the laptop part has a Core i7 4599U processor. It seems like a powerful one. The tablet gives you 2GB of RAM on the Android mode and on Windows you get 4GB. As far as connectivity goes it comes with USB 3.0 and the micro HDMI.
Asus Transformer Trio Book is The New Tabtop
This cool gadget is best for the usual tasks like social networking, surfing the net or emails. And it’s kind of cool to have a keyboard to a tablet when you want to write long documents or important mails. And after you finished with the boring work, detach the keyboard and relax on the sofa with just the tablet part of this three headed monster. Asus Transformer Trio Book passed our test.
