If you’ve been waiting for something new and exciting in terms of gaming, get ready for some exclusive content in the field of battle royale games. PUBG has just announced its twelfth update that will not only fix the regular bugs, but will bring some new content as well. However, since it’s a big update, we’ll probably have to wait longer for it to roll out from the servers.
The twelfth update will spend more time in the test servers
The PUBG developers thought it was time to bring some changes to the popular battle royale game. Through the twelfth update, they plan to be fixing a series of bugs, but also improve the map menu, as well as a series of maps. We will also get an exclusive new vehicle, the Mirado, and also a more balanced weapon system.
Unfortunately, the developers won’t be releasing the twelfth update too soon. To make sure everything goes as planned, they will keep it in the server to undergo more testing. They also encouraged all players to come with suggestions and feedback, so they will listen to everything you have to say before rolling out the update in the live game.
The update will reduce the dominance of certain weapons
The main purpose of this twelfth update was actually related to weapons. Some guns were a lot more dominant in PUBG, so players didn’t really get to choose those weapons they actually liked. The update seeks to reduce this dominance so you can have more freedom in terms of guns.
Some of these dominant weapons will get a nerf, while others will still stay strong. A Tommy Gun, for instance, is the ideal weapon for a shooter, and its dominance is quite understandable. Therefore, the developers decided to leave it just like it is.
Apart from all these changes, the twelfth update will also come with some new weapons that are quite strong, the exclusive vehicle the Mirado, as well as some new map options. You can already take a peek at how the update looks like, as you can find all the details on Steam.
