In an official announcement held at an event in San Francisco and Stockholm, Battlefield 4 which is the latest first – person shooter video game was unveiled as a dazzling game packed with photorealistic graphics. In its first gameplay demo, it appeared to be powered by Frostbite 3 engine of DICE and the AMD Radeon HD 7990 (world’s fastest graphics card). The passion and commitment of the DICE team was witnessed when the demo was amazingly found to thrill the players in a new era of gaming technology.
In view of this, quite astonishingly the release date and several in-game feature of EA’s forthcoming FPS heavy weight Battlefield 4 have been found to be leaked all over the web. In a pre-ordered poster from EB Games in Australia, it was specified that Battlefield 4 would be released by October, 31 (Thursday) this year.
Such speculations appears a little strange and fake as almost all the games of these series are released on a Tuesday in US and Friday in UK rather than on a Thursday. As a matter of fact it was exactly the same date on which Battlefield 3 was released last year.
The promotional poster also states that Battlefield 4 with its gorgeous look has the presence of the General Mode ability and the premium DLC expansion pack that can be availed free by players who pre order it. It is also highlighted that this new game portal will bring with it Battlelog 2.0, an upgradation to its predecessor and the most updated version of the state of the art gaming portal.
Keeping aside these rumors and leaks, the game was confirmed for next generation consoles and PC but the promotional poster on Australian retailer EB Games doesn’t mention any such platform.
Whatsoever, it can’t be denied that the official announcement of the release date of the upcoming shooter Battlefield 4 is still in air.
