Fossil is bound to launch 300 new styles of Android Wear Smartwatches this year. The watchmaker argued that their plan is to “reimagine the watch.” They will introduce on the market about three hundred new styles for watches, across fourteen brands. The shape and color of the models will vary, launching from smaller and slimmer smartwatches to touchscreen watches outfitted with custom AMOLED screens and incorporating branded micro-apps.
During Baselworld, Fossil will launch 300 new models of smartwatches
Fossil will present its new designs during the Baselworld watch and jewelry fair at Basel, their European central office. Fossil indicated that 2017 hybrid smartwatches would promote sleeker and slimmer devices, equipped with discrete activity tracking and notifications, being smarter than other gadgets. The new connected watches may come in various designs, sizes, and shapes, being outfitted with more side buttons which can be assigned to particular duties.
Those side buttons can be used to control music, track a goal, take a selfie or ring your smartphone. Fossil representatives stated that their Q Activist and Q Accomplice represent the slimmest Fossil Q watch cases, featuring the customizable side buttons. Several of these 14 brands will launch a smartwatch for the first time, most likely introducing new lines this year. The list unveils Tory Burch, with its new The Collins hybrid watch, MICHELE launching its new MICHELE Connected hybrid smartwatch collection, Marc Jacobs with its Riley hybrid smartwatch and DKNY with its new DKNY MINUTE hybrid smartwatch collection.
The new smartwatches will be launched across 14 different brands
The list also contains other brands which have been active in this field and intended to extend their smartwatch lines, like Skagen, Michael Kors, Misfit, Kate Spade New York, Fossil, Emporio Armani, Diesel, Chaps and Armani Exchange. Fossil noted that their new 2017 Android Wear smartwatches which feature touchscreens and which are compatible with Android and iOS smartphones are fueled by Android Wear 2.0, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor.
These smartwatches are equipped with AMOLED, high-resolution screens, preserving the integrity of the fantastic design while also facilitating precise illumination. Customers are free to personalize their device faces by selecting one of the millions branded designs which are programmed and build by Fossil Group. Moreover, Android Wear 2.0 offers the user the possibility to customize significant data to appear on their watch’s screen or create shortcuts.
All these smartwatches represent the latest and most sophisticated models, featuring a broad range of branded designs from which users are free to choose.
