The Inquirer has been the one who firstly received the invitation from the grandiose producer, after some particular elements of pricing regarding the S6 have leaked, the source being undetected.
Also on Tuesday, the head of strategic marketing at Samsung has been replaced. Samsung executive, Lee Sang-chul, who is currently in charge of Samsung’s Russia operations is the new member of strategic marketing for Samsung mobile business, instead of Kim Seok-pil, who has been in this function only from December 2014.The reasons beneath this change are related to Mr. Kim’s current health problems, that might keep him away from work for a long time, but his return is possible. He has been the one who had to deal with the well being of the new Samsung Galaxy S and he did quite well, taking into consideration his short time in the company and next month’s S6 release.
Unfortunately, the last week has registered a drop in profit in that mobile phones are concerned. 64% is the percentage that makes producers hope that the new S6 will save the sales and boost the market of 2015 even from the beginning of it. In 2014, 75% of all Samsung profits have been made at the first quarter of the year, so maybe 2015 will do the same, too.
The prices estimated for markets in Europe are 849 Euro, 949 Euro and 1049 Euro, depending on the size of the internal memory which can be of 21 GB, 64GB and 128GB. In addition to this launching, Samsung wants to release a Galaxy Note Edge smartphone, named the Galaxy S Edge.
