If you have enjoyed all the changes suffered by Destiny 2: Warmind, you should get ready for another series of updates that will be here before the end of the month. Bungie, the developer, has recently made public a new map available on PS4, PC, and Xbox. However, get ready for more, as it also teased some new things for the end of May, as well as some other events for July.
Bungie rolls out another Warmind expansion in May
Bungie decided to bring the Warmind 1.2.0 expansion as it felt Destiny 2 needed some improvements. However, the developers reviewed all the updates brought by the expansion and thought the game would feel fresher if they added a few more. This way, they teased a change in Exotic weapons. We’ll soon get some new Exotic armors, but they decided to keep this up until summer.
These changes will be included in a new expansion, Warmind 1.2.1. If you’re curious about it, you’ll have to wait until May 29th, but we can already tell you that some armors are included. In case these are not enough, just wait until July and you’ll get even more.
The dev has prepared some new items for the July update as well
However, Warmind 1.2.1 has some more surprises. Destiny 2 will finally get a test environment that is quite common among shooters like PUBG. This environment, called Crucible Labs, exhibits all the upcoming changes, so players can get exclusive access to them. Before letting the changes go live in the game, developers can receive feedback from the players and see if there’s something more to take care of.
Here are some new items that will come with the July update. Several modes in the Warmind expansion will feature Triumphs, where players can get skins and other cosmetic elements based on their achievements. If you can earn all these Triumphs, then Bungie will offer you the chance to get a T-shirt. Other special items include bounties, as well as the chat feature that stays unchanged.
