Remember how excited we all were when Foursquare was first released? It was something new at that time: an app that allowed us to share the location, especially the restaurants we went to and the new places in town that were a must-see. It also let us check-in so that anyone who followed us on social media accounts knew where we were. There is a new app in town for Android users and that is called Glympse app. This new app lets you share your location from your keyboard and the best thing about it is that you don’t have to leave the conversation you have with a friend to do that. The new Glympse app allows its users to share the location in an instant or a four-hour location sharing, so you can share where you are for most of the day.
With the Glympse app you can share your location with your contacts, on Facebook, Twitter and Evernote. You just need to connect to it and receive authorization. If you don’t to leave a conversation to share where you are Glympse app has a keyboard with a QWERTY included. You just need to tap on the G key to quickly share where you are at a specific moment. The Glympse app is free to download and you can go check it out and tell us what you think about.
It’s not something you’ve never heard of before but it’s a great new spin on the old “check-in” apps that have been around for some time. You can download the new Glympse app from here and we would love to hear from you after you’ve installed it on your device. You can share your opinions in the comment section below and tell us what you think about it. Is it user friendly? Is it something that you find useful?
