Google Assistant has now a new function, helping people enjoy their favorite recipes while receiving instructions on how to cook. People who already placed their Google Home speaker in the kitchen are even luckier. Now, they can have their personal chef. This week, the new update will roll out, helping all its users. Everyone will be granted access to approximately five million recipes from the Food Network, The New York Times, Bon Appetit and many other sources.
Google Assistant will be equipped with five million recipes
Google Assistant can read a recipe for its user and can slowly go through it step by step. When a user decides to search through the whole library of recipes, it is best if he or she selects a recipe through a web search on an Android or iOS gadget. If the user’s smartphone had Google Home built in, then the user can easily search for the recipe.
When the recipe is found, the customer only needs to tap and send it to its Google Home so that the device could read the dish’s ingredients. When the customer has prepared all the ingredients, he or she should say “Ok, Google, start cooking.” When finishing a stage of the recipe, the user can tell Google to move further to the following step. The device can also be used to repeat previous steps of the recipe, giving instructions.
By using Google Home speaker, users can tell Google Assistant to start the recipe while preparing the ingredients to cook
Moreover, customers can also tell Google Assistant to set timers. If people have doubts about using some particular ingredients or regarding their quantity, they can ask for Google Home’s advice. People can use Google Assistant on Google’s Pixel phones or Google Home speaker. Either way, the virtual helper will be ready to repeat the last steps of the recipe so users can easily follow every stage and add the right amount of ingredients. However, people should know that the assistant won’t work if they try to use recipes from different blogs or websites which are found outside of Google Assistant.
Nevertheless, Google might compete with Amazon’s sous chef since the company is bound to use Anova Culinary. The developers of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-connected Anova Precision Cooker immersion circulator will soon launch a new Alexa feature which will help users cook their favorite dishes for them and their loved ones.
