Google has been trying to come up with breakthrough technologies that can allow consumers to do lot more than just use smartphones. The internet search giant has now come up with Google Glass that has already been getting lot of buzz since July 2012 but there is one thing that everybody missed out for so many months. Joshua Topolsky of The Verge has now come up with the observation that Google Glass also works well with Apple iPhone which is a great news for all the consumers that own iPhone 5, iPhone 4S and various other iPhone models.
The new research report claims that Google Glass does not have any built-in radio which means that the glass relies completely on the internet connection of the smartphone and executes all the cloud based tasks through Bluetooth.
Google Glass works seamlessly with Android as well as with Apple’s iOS and there are no problems when it comes to using it. Most of the new Apple iPhone models have 3G connectivity and therefore using Apple iPhone that has 3G connectivity offers the opportunity for consumers to use Google Glass.
Topolsky said that while making use of Google Glass he found that most of the data is tethered via Bluetooth and the device makes use of 3G or 4G connectivity which means that same device works well with Apple iPhone as well. He also said that the Project Glass experience that is shown by Google is almost identical and there is no CGI used to make it look better. The glass is very clean and light and therefore it does not feel like you are wearing something heavy and which distracts your vision. Some experts believe that given the popularity of iPhone in the global market Google Glass will receive enormous amount of popularity when the device launches by the end of the year.
