Blizzard has announced on February 27 that the title of the Hearthstone new expansion will be “Journey to Un’Goro.” The new expansion will be launched in April. Together with the expansion announcement, the company has also unveiled 135 new cards which will be included in the upcoming expansion. Thus, passionate gamers and critics argued that these cards reveal some of the new mechanics which will be introduced in Hearthstone.
The most significant change is the addition of a new type of legendary card, namely Quest cards. If the player has this card on the deck, then the card will be in the opening hand of the gamer. Once you put the card into play, you will need to complete a quest which will earn another card for you as a reward. When a quest is active, then it will rest on the character’s portrait of the player as a secret.
The opponent will be unable to see your active quests. By now, Blizzard has only unveiled a single Quest card called Awaken the Makers. This is a priest-only quest which dares a gamer to summon seven minions which have Deathrattle effects. As a payoff, they will receive Amara, the Warden of Hope. Amara is known to be a powerful card.
It has five mana and eight attack. What is more, it also has eight health minion, but also a tremendous value. The card is bound to set the player’s Health to 40. It will heal the damage you have suffered, and it will add ten health over the usual maximum. Mainly, if the player can fulfill the requirements of a quest, you are most likely to receive an overpowered card in return.
Passionate gamers had noticed that Blizzard did not introduce a new keyword since 2015 when it launched the adventure set called The League of Explorers. Then players should not be surprised to see that the new keyword Adapt will borrow some features from the successful addition. When one of your minions gain the ability to adapt with, for instance, the Verdant Longneck card, then the player may choose among three distinct upgrades from a total number of ten.
Blizzard has presented the six possible adaptations, listing Massive, Living Spores, Liquid Membrane, Lightning Speed, Flaming Claws and Crackling Shield.
