FollowHP aims to restore the missing platform when it’s about tablet markets. The California-based tech company has revealed its recent product, the HP Slate 7 at the Mobile World Congress last February. However, at one point, the official HP website referred to a delay in its launch date.
But soon, company personnel said that it was a mistake. All looked fine after that, and it seemed that HP Slate 7 would release in time. The set is already spotted at HP stores in UK.
A utility and affordable tablet, HP Slate 7 is priced at £129. HP’s official UK store has facilitated to pre-order the device online. The launch date of HP Slate 7 is scheduled for the first week of May. The Mobile World Congress unveiled a fascinating red-colored model, but sadly it is unavailable at the moment. You can only pre-order the sleek silver-shaded HP Slate 7.
The HP Slate 7 possesses a display resolution of 1024*600, accompanied by a suitable 7-inched screen. The device operates on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is slender, weighing only 370 gm. The model contains a dual-core processor Cortex A9 1.6 GHz. 8GB internal storage and 1 GB RAM marks the device’s potency. A front facing VGA camera and a rear facing camera of 3MP are present in HP Slate 7, alongside Beats Audio.
The HP Slate 7 is not extraordinary but is satisfactory considering its affordable rate. The second generation and sturdier Nexus 7 could be an ultimate competitor of HP Slate 7. However, if you want to experience a smart tablet with utility features at minimal price, then HP Slate 7 may be suitable for you.
